We had a wonderful Halloween this year. Stephen loved being Sage's puppy. Even more than that, I believe he loved getting candy in his little pumpkin basket. It was adorable. Ray even took him to a few homes of people we know in the neighborhood and held his hand. I waited in the car w/ McKinley and watched my two boys. Tears filled my eyes as I watched them holding hands after Stephen received his treats. He was so proud to have someone put something in his basket. He was full of pure joy. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The picture above is of Ray, Stephen and Sage at Daddy's work. We spent the afternoon w/ him and celebrated w/ his class. Then Sage and Stephen handed out candy to Ray's students. I made candy bags for each student and put them in Sage's pack. Stephen took them out of the pack and handed them out. It was good sharing for him.

Here's my little "cowgirl" McKinley. 3 months old now and still drinking a lot of milk. Maybe I should have dressed up as a cow. : ) Thanks for the costume Cheryl. This is what Stephen wore last year when he was a year old. Now, his sister fits in it at 3months..whoa!

Stephen loves his pumpkin basket. A Happy Halloween for sure! He even said "woof! woof!"

Stephen does love his little sister. Dogs and cows always belong on the farm together.
Notice the snowboots on Stephen's feet...only in Alaska! We went to the trunk or treat activity at the church and we wanted to keep him warm. It was only 10°...brrr! Stephen and I decorated Sage's cart and harnessed her up to pull Stephen around. Her cart was our 'trunk.'
I will post pics of the cart another day. Stephen loved riding in the cart and collecting candy while Ray handed out candy from our 'trunk.' We had a lot of fun and the kids loved seeing Sage and Stephen together. Berner buddies forever.

May you all be 'treated' well this Thanksgiving season. Our family is so grateful for all of you.
Happy Holidays!
love,
Kary

Cute! I am glad Stephen had on some good Bernese fur to keep him warm! Brrrrr! McKinley looks sweet as a little cow-baby.
It sounds like you had a fun holiday! It is always so fun to see the children excited and full of joy! Those are the special times, the mother moments, when all the hard work pays off. :-)
I love you Kary. I was going to call you last week . . . I will call you soon! Long time no chat! I miss you!!!
We were watching old home videos with ma and pa yesterday. There were Denali moments, and Buffalo girl moments -- we were just laughing so hard we were crying. It was great to see you, even if it was just on a movie! It made me miss you even more!
We will talk soon . . . LOVE YOU!!!!
Love, Mari
