McKinley's 1 year old Birthday!

McKinley celebrated her first birthday yesterday, July 24, 2009. We had a butterfly party. She is the butterfly princess. She truly is like the wind beneath our wings. She'll keep us flying for years to come. She loved sharing her new toys with Stephen.
Stephen loved the 'butterfly in the box'/ jack in the box toy. He couldn't wait for the butterfly to pop out. Super cute!~
McKinley's butterfly cake (actually made by me) was her favorite part of the night.
She couldn't wait to dive into it (literally) It was too funny. She just dove her face right into it. No hands required.

We played pin the butterfly on the butterfly and watched a "butterfly kisses" dvd I made of McKinley's first year of life. The song, "butterfly kisses" was just the song for 'Daddy's little girl." I'll try and post a copy of it on the blog at a later date. I will also post pictures that Ray took of the Birthday party. They are adorable. I took the above pics. I also have some video to post. So, keep checking in.....I might actually update my blog more often.
