During our bike trip, Ray asked the kids if they wanted to camp in a tent that night. Of course their response was a resounding "yes!" When we arrived home (after pedaling 10 miles), we were ready to rest. But, Ray had made his promise that the kids would get to campout in a tent that night. So, he got to work on setting up with Stephen and I got their pajama's and blankets ready. We had a camp fire in our fire pit and enjoyed reading books in the tent. As you can see in the pictures, Stephen and McKinley loved the experience.
Keep in mind, it is now staying light until 11:30 at night and the sun is up by 5:00. So, do you think this was a restful night for Mommy? Not really, but was it worth it? Absolutely! We will treasure these joyful moments. Even when the kids look at you at 5 am and ask: "is it good morning time yet?" All you can do is smile and then hide in your sleeping bag. : )

Good practice for the summer visit to Idaho. Except it SHOULD be a little warmer! ;-) Can't wait! Love you!
