19 years and still paddlin' along......

Ray and I celebrated our 19th anniversay on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009!
I am so grateful to be married to my true companion. He respects me, honors me, supports me, loves me, compliments me, helps me, trusts me (I could go on....), but most importantly, he is a fabulous Father to our two wonderful children. Thanks Ray!
We went to a cabin in the woods for a get away. It's called Tundra Rose Cottages. It's near Sheep Mountain Lodge. It was very peaceful and beautiful there. Saturday, we drove up near Lake Louise and paddled on Crater Lake. Well, I should say that Ray paddled and fished, while I put my feet up, relaxed and ate licorice. Total tranquility!
Life is good! Alaska is so beautiful! It's great to get out and see new places. So much to explore and be grateful for.
Here's the view of Matanuska glacier from the front deck of our little cabin in the woods. It was wonderful to sit and read on the deck and see the beauty around us.
Here's our home sweet home for the weekend. Thanks to Beth and James for watching Stephen and McKinley for us! Now, it's time to plan for our 20th anniversary! wow!!!! We must be getting younger.

Hug your honey today and treat them sweet!
love
Kary
