On Tuesday, we took Stephen and McKinley on a bike ride in Palmer, Alaska. It was beautiful seeing the Mountain peaks and running rivers along the way. We stopped at a playground for a picnic and gave the kids some play time. Stephen got an early birthday present. A trailer bike. Daddy pulls him and Stephen can choose to pedal or just hold on. The # rule I tell him is: "hold on!" Yes, I have faith that he will. As I watched the expressions of joy on his little face and his Daddy's face as they practiced riding together, I could not say "no" to this gift. So, now I pull McKinley. This works out better. Stephen and McKinley were getting smashed as they sat side by side in the stroller trailer. Now we can begin our training to ride with our family from 'sea to shining sea.'

Pedal forward!
Love, Kary

PS. As you watch the video, you may notice that Stephen has a bandaid and a 'shiner' under his right eye. He fell last week on a bench and hit the corner. Ouch! He's all boy.

Precious! I love seeing you and your little family, and hearing you sing, "Buffalo Gals" made it all the better. : D

I want one (for me!) . . . I'll attach it to Charles' bike! ;-) I'll let him do all the work -- while I sit back and relax! Looks like FUN! Go Stephen!
