Here are a few pictures I took before we headed out to Trick or Treat with Stephen, McKinley and Sage tonight.
It was 28° with a nice wind chill tonight. But, we have learned in Alaska to dress for the weather.
I always try and buy the kids costumes a bit big so we can layer underneath and not have to wear their winter coats that cover up their costumes. They both wore hat and gloves and stayed warm as we ran (and I mean ran) from house to house. They loved getting their trick or treat buckets loaded up so they could have a sweet treat in their school lunches next week. Mmmmm….good!
McKinley as Olaf from the Frozen movie.
Peek-a-boo…Where did McKinley go?
Wanna hug?
Please hug me…please squeeze.
Ouch! I'm inside Olaf's mouth. Help!
I love Halloween!
Dressing up is so much fun!
How do you like me now?
Stephen modeling as Luke Skywalker
So glad Mom found me a lightsaber that actually lights up and has sound effects.
I feel like a real Jedi.
I will get you Darth Vader!
I can feel the force.
Yes, Obi Wan, I will do. I know there is no try.
Yoda taught me there is do or do not.
I feel happy staying away from the 'dark side.'
Ta da!
Hooray, it's finally Halloween!
Yes, I do like warm hugs!
And, may the force be with us all.
Happy Halloween!
