Camping by the Payette River, Summer trip continued...

After leaving Mari and Charles' home, we took a two hour scenic drive and found a free campground for the night. We camped by the Payette River. It was beautiful. The kids loved throwing rocks in the river and Ray enjoyed a cold, refreshing bath in the river.

While waiting for Daddy to cook dinner, the kids collected pine cones and built a pine cone house.

There are many beautiful places in Idaho. We loved driving through Stanley. I think I could retire in a place like that. : )
