What a sight to behold! We were thrilled to see the Lower Falls in the 'Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.' We sure love the beauty of the earth.

Ray, Kary, Stephen, McKinley in front of the Falls.

Ray, Kary, Stephen and McKinley in front of some hot springs. The kids loved exploring this area. They walked the whole way and would often ask if what they were seeing was a hot spring or a geyser. Stephen wanted to make sure we read every sign so he could know the names of each one. I believe his favorite name of a hot spring was 'dragon's breath.'
Such an amazing place.

As we were setting up camp at our campsite in Yellowstone, we were greeted by big boy buffalo. He came out of the trees and walked right through our camp spot. We had to get a quick pic.
Many more Yellowstone photos to come.
I'm posting the trip in chronological order to keep it organized.
Hope you're enjoying the journey with us.

Kari! Doug's sister and her family are headed to Yellow Stone this week. I doubt that you will run into them... but it's Dave and Dawn Ann Carpenter and their two children (ages 16 and 18) Amy and Brian.
Just in case! Looking forward to your adventures!
Love,
Barb
Glad you had a good time! All your travels look beautiful. We were happy to have you visit with us for awhile! Maybe next time we will have a little more space to squish everyone into! It was great to party with family and for the cousins to be together. We love you so much! I am sure you are happy to be home. Just like that imitation-Dorothy sang horribly. "There is no place like home!"
