Here's a quick update of where we have been and what we have been doing lately.
Last weekend, we drove to Fairbanks with Mom and Dad to enjoy the Fall colors and run the Equinox Marathon. Ray and I enjoyed the adventure of the trail running and the rugged hill climbs. It was definitely the toughest physical challenge I have endured (next to giving childbirth.) : ) Mom captured these pictures at the start of the marathon. Dad has video somewhere of the finish.
The Fall colors were fabulous! We loved being there and had fun picking lingonberries with the kids.
Ray made some delicious jam last week that we love to eat on toast and pancakes.
McKinley is now 4 years old and ready for Preschool. She started 3 weeks ago and looks forward to her 3 days a week. She is so blessed to have her PS located at Ray's work. Her classroom is right across from his. So, you can imagine how happy Daddy and McKinley are when they see each other throughout the morning time when she is there. I remember riding to Phoenix College (my Daddy's work) and attending Preschool there. I loved fingerpainting and taking naps. Who doesn't?
While in Fairbanks, we enjoyed our stay at Pike's Lodge. The kids found the big swing and they were obviously all smiles. Of course, when Stephen saw the miniature golf course, we had to play a round. Grandma is still a serious competitor. It was fun to watch her play w/ the kids.
Stephen and I are trying out the dog mushing sled while in Fairbanks. This was the afternoon after finishing the marathon. It felt good to sit and go for a 'ride.' : )
Happy Fall!

Was it raining for your run? I've heard it has been major flooding and rain in Alaska? That looks more like my kind of run . . . I get tired of pounding the pavement, some dirt trails sound nice! You guys look great! And the kids are adorable. Hope you are all doing well! Chat with you sometime soon! Love ya!
Looks like fun. Tell Mckinley that Adam loves preschool to. I think both of their teachers are Ms Teresa. Love you guys thanks for the update.
