Now we have arrived at mile 17 and I was feeling a little nauseous. This concerned me for just a moment since I had experienced previous vomiting on some of my long training runs. After hydrating a little more and asking Kellie and Kristie to pray at that point, everything settled down.
One of the cutest cheerleaders along the course. My McKinley! Goooo Mommy! We made sure the kids were very involved with all of our marathon training and the event. They loved making the signs with me and being there w/ Kellie, Kristie and Bethanie was a super fun activity for them.
This is the amazing flag and K & K made for the marathon so that we would be able to spot them along the way. They re-fueled us with our favorite sports drink and cheered us on to victory all the way.
This was the first spectator viewpoint...mile 9.2. We were so grateful to see our family there. The love of family can keep you moving forward (that's for sure!)
