Moments that matter

I wanted to pass along this video from lds.org in case you haven't seen it yet. It certainly reminded me to slow down a little and focus on the things that matter most. This was a great message to me as I prepare to run the marathon on Saturday too: "Slow down." I know if I set a steady, comfortable pace, I will finish. I will take time to look around me. I will observe people that are more challenged than I am at completing the course. I will search for my family that is cheering me on somewhere on the sidelines and far away. No matter where you are, I know I will feel of your love and encouragement. I can feel it right now.
Please keep Ray and I in your prayers to have success this Saturday. This is a moment that truly matters to me. Thank you for everything!

Enjoy the video clip. See the link below.
love, K

Thanks Mom! I know I can because my family is behind me ALL the way!

"Smile every mile!" is my motto

Stephen and McKinley made smiley signs to hold up during the marathon tomorrow. I'll have Kellie and Kristie take pictures.

Smiles and miles,
In less than 24 hours, I'll be on my way.
