A few weeks ago, Stephen and McKinley discovered Lego blocks. I found some in the toy closet downstairs and set them out for the kids. I think these are the very blocks that Sammi and Dan used to play with. Perhaps, they go as far back as Beth, Mari and John. I was amazed out how they created rockets, cars, machines, etc w/ these timeless blocks. I was inspired by Mari's blog when I saw her pictures of Sammi and Daniel building Harry Potter's castle w/ legos. So, I need to begin the search for more legos, lego people, lego eyes, legos w/ wheels, etc. And, do they have girl colored legos (I'm sure they do.) So much to discover.

Can't wait to play with legos with the kids. They were and are some of my favorite toys. Tell them Grandma is really looking forward to building dreams with them.
Love, Mom
There are crazy legos out there now. Yes, they come in girl colors, and princess styles, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc., etc. :-) I always loved building with blocks and legos. Looks like fun to me! Keep the pictures coming. I should be getting an iphone here soon, I will call you when I do. :-)Love you!
