I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. A swimming pool was a must. We were fortunate enough to have wonderful neighbors who shared their pool with our family. We had a gate between our backyards so we could both come and go as we pleased.
Now, in Alaska……the only person I know that has had an outdoor swimming pool, is my friend, Crystal. She grew up in Palmer and she had a heated pool. Very cool!
In our backyard, in Wasilla, we have a small kiddie wading pool that offers a big splash; especially when shared with cool cousins.
Here goes mighty McKinley! Nice balancing act.
Going for an Olympic Gold, Stephen pulls out a power pose.
Stylin' Sammi sunshine! She's in the groove & she's got some moves.
Love that happy hair!
Great form for Dynamite Daniel! He's sporting a Captain America stunt.
The high knee award goes to wet & wild William! Well done!
William knows how to enjoy a big splash too!
Now, in the following pictures, you will see that we are trying not to 'splash' in the creek, but 'dash' over it. We also do a little 'dashing' through the snow. Gotta love living in Alaska!
Mari & Kary passing Henry across a creek in Hatcher Pass. Notice Mari can manage her camera and Henry at the same time. She is one tough chick! Hang on Henry……I've got you (I think.) ; )
Happy girl in a happy place
William, pondering in the great outdoors
Snow in the summer? Really? I must be in Alaska!
William and Stephen has so much fun playing in the snow up in Hatcher Pass.
They didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
William with one of his best buddies, Sage.
Stephen performing his 'hi-ya!' move. I give it two thumbs up!

We miss you guys!
