McKinley's 6th Birthday

It was time to 'let it go,' at McKinley's birthday party today.  We invited a few friends from church and school to come celebrate McKinley's special day.  Family had other obligations today, so we will celebrate Sunday.
McKinley wanted a "Frozen" birthday party.  So, we played Frozen Bingo (thanks for designing the cool Bingo cards Mom.)  Then, we sang "Let it go" at the top of our lungs.  It was so cute to watch the girls sing out with all of their hearts and souls.  And, they all knew all the words.  Then, we played 'snowball throw' w/ big marshmallows and knocked over Frozen cups.  'Wanna build a Snowman' got a lot of laughs as the girls were blindfolded and had to pin the stick hair on Olaf.  Other games were played too.  See below for more Frozen fun!

Anna wishes McKinley a Happy Birthday!

Wanna Build a Snowman game.  Where's the hair?

Olaf greeted all the guests with a warm hug.
You just gotta love this guy!  He really melts your heart.  ; )

Yes, Mom….we will share the big balloon.

McKinley is looking up at Olaf floating up high.
She also shows off her new smile.  Just lost her front tooth yesterday.

Olaf says:  "Happy Birthday McKinley!"

Are you sure I can't take him to Blake's house with me? Please Mom...

Taking time to stop and smell the flowers before friends come to the party.

McKinley can hardly wait till her friends arrive.
We had to wait on the front porch to watch for them.

When Stephen and I saw this shirt last week, we just had to get it for McKinley so she
could wear it on her birthday.   I would like to find a shirt like this for me.

It's snowing!

Waiting for Mommy to call out the next Bingo character.

Where is Olaf?  He needs hair.  I've got to find him. I'm getting closer.  I think that's his nose…
yes, and above his nose should be his eyes and then, I know, that's right…his head belongs above his eyes
so, I'll hang his hair above his eyes.  Sweet!  Olaf has hair now…a little crooked, but close enough.

Snowball Pass game

Snowball power!

FROZEN cake (literally).  Thank you Dairy Queen for making ice cream cakes.
I just added the characters and candles.  So yummy!

Could you guys hurry up and sing faster so we can start eating the cake?

What could it be?  Kai fighter from Ninjago Legos.  Just what I wanted!

I love legos!!!

Anna's castle set

Fun friends!

Oooh, this will be fun to play with!

Frozen relay race.  I gave each team a spoon and an ice cube.  They had to walk or jog their
ice cube down to the bucket without it falling off the spoon.  If it fell off, they had to
start over.  You wanted to get the most ice cubes in your bucket before time was up.

Whew!  I made it.

Time for 'Freeze' tag!

Elsa (friend with Elsa's magic freeze wand) has an intense chase
going so she can catch Anna (McKinley.)  If you were tagged by Elsa,
you became Frozen.  Anna had to try and rescue you by giving you a hug and saying:
"Love can thaw a frozen heart."

McKinley's & Kelsey!  Best buddies from Kindergarten.

Keep smiling!

I love you McKinley!  Mommy and Daddy are so grateful you were born into our family.
We love your warm hugs.
Happy Birthday!
