Whew! What a workout! Now I can see why Mom always needed a nap after preparing all the feast and festivities for our Thanksgiving celebrations. It has been full of fun! Stephen has been very helpful too. As you can see in the photos, he helped clean the frig today so we could have room for all the food. Today, I made two homemade pumpkin pie, homemade rolls, pistachio pudding salad, Chicken ramen salad and oreo pudding. The pudding is to fill the ice cream cone name plates if anyone wants to sample that. Ray will take on the turkey tomorrow with three dutch ovens. He will be cooking our bird over the fire so we can honor Mom and Dad's way of cooking in Samoa. : ) It should be great. It's been over 40° the past two days. We'll continue to make the rest of the meal tomorrow. It was good to get a head start today. I'm ready to relax! Ahhh!
Yes, Mari, we are planning on singing "For health and strength and daily food..." Ray and I practiced a round the other night and little Stephen enjoyed the show.
Gobble! Gobble!
I am so thankful for my family!

That looks really good! Hope you guys had a fabulous Thanksgiving!
How did your pies taste? I am not a huge pumpkin pie fan, but if there is enough cream on it - it is ok. ;-)
Bring on the Christmas Music Stations!!!

Mari
